Science Confirms: This Inexpensive Food Treats Type 2 Diabetes, Liver Disease, Parkinson’s And Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Arthritis And More.

Imagine one food that can nourish your body by providing most of the protein you need to live, help prevent  allergies, strengthen your immune system, help with cholesterol and blood pressure, and help protect you from cancer. This is a one of a kind food that you definitely need to start adding to your diet as soon as possible.

Have you heard of spirulina?

Spirulina is now believed to be one of the most nutritious foods in the world.   Spirulina contains all the essential amino acids so vital to achieve optimal health!  Spirulina treats type 2 diabetes, liver disease, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, cancer, arthritis and more.

One of its most fascinating qualities of spirulina is found in its protein content. By weight, Spirulina is about 60% protein,  thus making it an incredible source of this vital nutrient that the body needs to function properly.

Spirulina is very effective for heavy metal detox. It’s known as an effective chelating agent that can effectively remove toxins such as mercury, and even radioactive substances from the body.

In recent studies, researchers have discovered that Spirulina may protect the brain from damage and degenerative diseases, like Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. University of Madrid researchers called Spirulina a “powerful antioxidant” that was capable of interfering with cell death caused by free radical damage.

The researchers concluded that Spirulina can help with some treatments for neurodegenerative disorders — since Spirulina helped to increase levels of the body’s most important antioxidant, glutathione.

Spirulina is a great source of omega-3 fats, which protects against oxidative stress. Omega-3 fats boost cognitive performance too.

A long-term study carried out over 30 years ago among 1297 patients with type 1 Diabetes produced significant improvement over just one year. It found that spirulina can balance blood sugar levels and prevented the side effects of the disease.

Other studies on spirulina  confirmed that it can help with diabetes:

A 2008 Korean study of 37 people with type 2 diabetes discovered that the blood-fat levels of study participants who took 12 weeks of spirulina supplements were greatly reduced.

A 2006 Croatian study on diabetic rats, found that those given spirulina showed to have normal levels of blood sugar, plasma insulin and serum C-peptide.

There is a lot of evidence supporting spirulina’s potential in effectively treating other health conditions such as liver disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer, arthritis and many more.
