How To Use Acupressure To Help You Fall Asleep Faster

In order to use the acupressure technique to help you fall asleep, you first have to learn which points on your body to apply pressure to. There are many different acupressure points on the body and each has a different healing effect. When dealing with sleep disorders, there are three points that you need to focus on.

One point is the so-called “LV3” which is a point that can help with a wide variety of bodily ailments including sleeplessness. It is located on the top of the foot between the big toe and the second toe. You should press this point for four to five seconds before trying to fall asleep.

Another point that is important for insomniacs is the “P6”. It is located on the arm about three finger widths above the wrist and between the tendons. Applying pressure here for five minutes will help you fall asleep.

The last point that helps with sleep is called “K1”. This one is located on the underside of the foot in the middle of the contact line between the sole and the ball. With the K1 you should apply pressure for 30 seconds, release the pressure for five seconds, and then apply pressure again for 30 more seconds.

There are also many other things you can do to help you fall asleep such as avoiding any kind of stimulants like caffeine or nicotine too close to bedtime. Regular sleeping hours are also important because they help your body stay in a rhythm and prepare it for sleep every evening. It is also important to avoid doing things like working on your laptop, eating or watching television in bed.
