This wonderful method will help easier to fall asleep. The technique is known as the 4-7-8 breathing technique.
Here’s how to apply:
1. Place the tip of your tongue on the palate. The tongue let touches the field, which is located directly behind the upper front teeth. You should keep your tongue there throughout the exercise.
2. Exhale completely through your mouth.
3. Close your mouth and breathe through your nose, counting to 4.
4. Hold your breath, counting to 7.
5. Exhale through your mouth and let it lasted 8 seconds.
Repeat the procedure for another 3 cycles. Be careful every time exhale through your mouth. That should do it in practice two times a day, thereby will relieve stress, tension and the faster you will fall asleep.
